Why, that's less time than a pregnancy! I feel better already! :lol:

Too soon, though, to put together one of those paper chains. I really, honestly make one by the end of January. My poor hubby has to look at it each time he goes by the refrigerator! Best thing about Valentine's Day? It's usually the day Indians pitchers and catchers report!

Ever since the Dolan's bought the team I haven't really followed and combine that with the steroids issue's I am hardly up for any baseball.I would like to know if Jhonny Peralta is playing third base or not?

Tribenut, you are truly providing a valuable service to those of us who...um...have no freakin' life! Ah, but baseball talk, even about a sucky season by the team we love, is a nice way to ignore politics for a few brief moments. Thanks for the dailies. Now you have to figure out a way to deliver this info to our mail home pages.

Our first winter here my hubby was flat on his back from early December to mid-January, then recovering from surgery till middle-end of March. Our first snow? 21 inches. Got a break for about a week, then 18 inches. Ten days of no snow, then made up for it with about another foot+. We lived in a secondary snowbelt back in OH and got one or two bad snows a year. Most winter months here it's more like one or two a month. I'd take OH weather again in a snowflake!

BTW, we left the snowblower back in OH for our daughter's use. :roll:

She never bothered to use it, so we brought it here. It's a mere toy on this snow, so we're looking (FINALLY!) at a "real" snowblower. More Power! Ergh!

I don't live in Bahstun (thank God for small favors), I live on the MA/CT border. Our town (about 40/60 on a line from Hartford to Bahstun) averages 70 to 75 inches a year. So we're even. Except I don't live in Michigan. Oh, wait, I live in Massachusetts. :oops:

Exactly right TribeFan13. The Indians ingored the bugs and still played. The Billion Dollar Yankees couldn't play because of the bugs. What does that say about your team and, even better, what does it say about ours? GO TRIBE!

I want to sign Hoffman. I think that he still might have a good year or two left and I think that a veteran would be good to help fix this young bullpen.
I would also like to sign Blake again for 1-2 years to fill that hole at third until Wes Hodges is ready to start in the Majors.
Yes, I would to sign 2 veteran players this off-season. Some veterans could help fix the team. And it's not like they are way past their prime and would be worthless signings. Plus they both fit in holes that need filled this off-season.

they spend to much on there players that they don't have enough money for a couple cans of bug spray

Where do my priorities lie? With the Indians (my team, my sport) or with the Browns who are going to be slaughtered like usual, by our supposed rival, the Steelers, to end the season 4-12. Browns, Clowns. They moved, then when they came back we moved. I didn't have to learn an entire new team with my Tribe...whom I've been following since the late 50s :shock:

(I'm old...).

For me, the countdown formally begins right after the last pitch of the last game played in October/September.
