A royal flush

I see that Homgren let Dawn Aponte and Mike Keenan go as well as the 4 man pro scouts and trainers.Nice way to try and make some big changes and I think that goes a long way in making the statement that same old will not be same old and I also think this will change the mentality of losing that the team has grown accustomed to.Lets also not forget that this should get Cribbs attention, now he will be dealing with someone new.Maybe this time next season we all here on this forum can have awesome topics about the bright future of our beloved team.I am very hopefull,I am very optimistic, and I hope this is the real start of the real expansion era.

Ken ....I agree the changes made is a new beginning . But it goes much further than the expansion era . We have a better chance now than any time since Paul Brown's days . We finally have some football prowess and some teeth to pull it off .

Go Browns .

I hope this a new beginning and the Browns start winning. This is the 4th restart and they all seemed pretty good at the time. Best of luck to this crew, let's see some wins :)

I remember the playoff game against Denver and that's were I believe this mess all began, then the addition of Modell moving the team and the 3 year wait for football.Maybe the whole Holmren thing won't work but I think it's a statement made by Lerner that he needed to do something big right now.I think Lerner did a very good thing in bringing Holmgren.

Prowess, teeth and expansion eras matter as long as there is a salary cap in the NFL. Like the NBA, we have a shot at it all in any given year.

If the salary cap is lifted in the NFL and we have to compete with big market, big budget teams like New York and LA, we are doomed.

Enjoy the prowess while it counts.

The owner is a billionaire and he is willing to spend the money, not to mention there are Browns fans all over the world so the money coming in from purchases is huge. Now if the Dolans owned the Browns then I would be very worried.
